New Session in School - Elation or Dismay?

Feelings of Students before the start of a New Session

I  came up with this topic because I am currently going through this ;)

Before the start of a New Session, there are multifarious feelings going on in a Student’s brain. The main ones are :

. Elation

. Apprehension

. Dismay

Elation

Many of the students are elated. The reason of this overjoyment might be that they are with their friends or either they got the best teacher. Now, if you ever come up to a stage where you need to identify if the student is elated or not, then I might be able to help you! So, you ask the student if he/she has packed her school supplies and bag, if the answer is yes it means that the student is overjoyed ;)These are also the students who mug up allllll the books before the start of the session and are likely to score above 90 in their exams:)

Apprehension

This sort of feeling is not only found in nervous students but also in students who are excited. This is mostly caused by all the wills and woulds some of them such as: Will i get good grades? Will the teachers like me? Would the books be easy for me? Would I be able to study that hard and so on…..These are also the students who pack their supplies prior to the date but still have last minute things left. Now in nervousness either their grades shoot up or they go down, it depends on determination as well ;)

Dismay

Now! Now! These students are an interesting group! These are the students who have least interest in anything because their friends are not with them in their section or they got the most strict teacher. These students have no interest in packing their bag or going through books. They go unprepared to school on the first day with no supplies and of course with no interest!!!They are likely to be seen sitting at the corner of the class staring at a friend group with jealousy in their eyes :(

So this sums it up !!

Hope you liked reading this blog. Comment if you are going through these feelings! Thanks for reading ;)
